On April 22, 2014 the Head of the FCS of Russia, Mr. Andrey Beliyaninov, had a meeting with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of India in the Russian Federation, Mr. Pundi Srinivasan Raghavan.
In the course of the meeting, the parties discussed the issues of the customs cooperation between Russia and India, including law enforcement sphere, and personnel training at the customs academies of two countries.
The Head of the FCS of Russia, Mr. Andrey Beliyaninov, delivered to the Indian party a draft protocol for the organization of data exchange through the "green channel". The signature of this document implies the creation of favourable conditions for law-abiding foreign trade operators by reducing the time required for customs formalities.
